Oliver Poage Suage Midgley is the son of Donu Kogbara — and the living proof that the best stories always have a next chapter. Born with a name that carries within it the full weight of a family's history, Oliver represents everything the Kogbara lineage has been working towards: a future shaped by love, heritage, and the freedom to define himself on his own terms.
His middle names are not accidental. Poage honours his uncle, Poage Kogbara. Suage carries forward the name of his grandfather, Ignatius Suage Kogbara OON. In one act of naming, Donu wove together three generations — an act that speaks to the profound respect she has for the family that made her who she is.
Oliver grows up carrying a remarkable inheritance: a grandmother's wisdom, a grandfather's honour, a mother's courage, and a family name that has meant something in Nigeria for generations. What he will do with it is entirely his own story — and by all indications, it is one very much worth watching.
